Si sa, il post festività di fine/inizio anno rappresenta un momento di riflessione per tutti quelli che hanno passato gli enta (a volte anche prima), il panettone lascia dei segni quasi indelebili e porre rimedio è spesso un lavoro arduo.Nella mia routine sportiva mancavano proprio gli esercizi a corpo libero, va bene correre e fare pesi, ma gli esercizi per la schiena sono sempre necessari, almeno nel mio caso.La scelta di questa palla è stata abbastanza semplice e va calibrata in relazione alla propria corporatura, ad ogni modo mi serviva proprio per curare alcuni allenamenti utili a rinforzare addominali e schiena in generale.Ne avevo già avuta una simile in passato, ma tra i mille traslochi è andata persa (o forse l’avrà buttata mia moglie…), ad ogni modo, al momento non posso che esserne sodisfatto, l’ho usata per alcuni esercizi e mi è sembrata molto stabile e resistente.La dotazione della confezione è ricca, c’è una piccala pompa (a dire il vero non è il massimo vista la quantità d’aria che è necessario buttare dentro) due spillini per la chiusura ermetica una volta gonfiata, un piccolo dispositivo utile per la rimozione dello spillo stesso e un manuale(in tedesco) con alcuni esempi di esercizi che è possibile praticare.Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono, anche se ritengo che sia più favorevole la qualità che il prezzo (circa 20€).Insomma un buon prodotto realizzato con materiali di tutto rispetto.

This ball comes in 4 sizes, based on your height, so do check which size you need before ordering.The ball was relatively easy to inflate using the included hand pump. Yes, pumping it up did equate to a physical workout, but I figured ‘no pain, no gain’!The ball needs to be inflated over two days, to allow the PVC material to fully stretch, but that wasn’t an issue for me. It was easy to inflate it to the correct size although an amount of air did escape from the ball between removing the pump and inserting the included stopper. I needed to remove the stopper, pump in more air and quickly insert the stopper to ensure there was enough air in the ball. A handy tool is included to help remove the stopper, two of which are included.A full colour practical guide is also included which contains not only inflation and storage instructions, but a selection of gym ball exercises, physical therapy exercises and 9 easy pregnancy exercises designed to help achieve a ‘better birth’.I used the exercise ball as an addition to Pilates exercises I do at home. I found the ball to be non-slip, sturdy and easy to use. It has a good rebound. I didn’t think it had a strong or unpleasant odour.I do not know how long it will remain fully inflated but as the stopper is easy to remove I’m sure it won’t be a problem to top it up with air as and when necessary using the included hand pump. All good here.

I ordered the Slim Panda exercise ball to review because I wanted something simple to use at home for stretching, balance work and light core exercises.I was also interested in using it for posture and gentle back stretching, especially after sitting for long periods. I have used gym balls before, but some feel thin or slippery, so I wanted one that felt sturdy and safe enough for regular use.I have been using this at home on a hard floor and on a yoga mat, mostly for gentle fitness exercises, stretching and balance training. It was straightforward to inflate, and once blown up properly, it held its shape well. I left it for a little while after inflating and then topped it up slightly, which is something I usually do with exercise balls to get the firmness right.The ball feels good quality in use. It has enough softness to be comfortable, but it does not feel flimsy or weak when I sit or lean on it. I have used it for seated balance exercises, back stretches, bridges, wall squats and a few Pilates-style movements, and it has worked well for all of those.The surface has a nice grip to it. It is not sticky, but it does not feel overly smooth or slippery either. That makes a difference when using it for balance exercises because I feel more secure and not like I am constantly sliding around.The biggest positive for me is that it feels sturdy. With an exercise ball, confidence matters because you are putting your weight on it. This one feels durable enough for normal home workouts, and the anti-burst design gives extra peace of mind – I don’t feel like I am going to hurt myself on it!I also like that it is versatile. I can use it for fitness, stretching, balance work, core exercises and general mobility. It would also be useful for pregnancy comfort or birth preparation exercises, although I am using it more for everyday stretching and fitness. It is one of those simple bits of equipment that can be used in lots of different ways.The material feels decent. It does not have a strong unpleasant smell, which I appreciated, as some PVC gym equipment can smell quite plasticky when first opened. It feels soft enough against the skin but still tough enough to handle regular use. It has not picked up scratches easily so far, and it wipes clean without any fuss.Ease of use is good once it is inflated. It is light enough to move around the room, and I can use it while watching a workout video or just doing a few stretches in the evening. It is also comfortable enough to sit on for short periods when working on posture.The main negative is the usual one with exercise balls: it does take up space. Once inflated, it is not something you can fold away unless you deflate it, so you need somewhere to keep it. Also, getting the firmness right matters. If it is underinflated, it feels too soft for some exercises, but if it is too firm, it is less comfortable. I found it best to adjust it gradually.Build quality seems good for the price. It feels thicker and more reliable than very cheap exercise balls I have used before, and it has performed well for light to moderate home exercise.Overall, I am pleased with this exercise ball. It feels good quality, comfortable, grippy and versatile, and it has been useful for stretching, balance training and gentle workouts at home.I think it suits anyone wanting a simple fitness ball for yoga, Pilates, core work, physiotherapy-style exercises, back stretching or pregnancy support. It is especially good for home use because it is easy to move around and does not require a complicated setup.For value for money, I think it is good. He estado usando esta pelota de gimnasia durante un buen tiempo y cumple bien con lo que esperaba de ella. Está hecha de un material suave y sin olores raros, con una superficie que da un buen agarre incluso sudada, para los ejercicios de equilibrio, está muy bien. Se infla sin problemas aunque algo lento, pero al estar llena se siente estable y firme, sin apenas pérdidas de aire con el uso. Para las rutinas básicas cumple su función porque es cómoda y versátil. En general por su relación calidad/precio merece la pena. A mi me ha gustado, cumple con lo prometido. La recomiendo.

Disappointing. The first ball was mispackaged – I received 55cm instead of 65cm. The next one I received (65cm) was smaller than 65cm after pumping.Also bear in mind that the size recommendations don’t take into consideration body proportions. The NHS recommends that when you sit on the ball your hips are higher than your knees. So it’s not about how tall you are but how long your legs are! I’m 170cm and need 75cm to follow NHS’s guidelines.Also if you want to sit at regular sized table/desk you’ll need 85cm ball. Anything smaller and your hands will be too low for the table/desk so Slim Panda’s description isn’t correct.
