    This universal window seal kit from DREO comes packed into a small branded cardboard box, inside that you’ll find the 400cm long seal itself, a generous roll of adhesive backed velcro and a set of well-written printed instructions. Everything in the kit feels well made for the cost and there are no immediate concerns with the quality of the fabric, the zip, the velcro or the double-sided adhesive they’ve used.I grabbed this specifically for venting an airbrush booth and resin 3D printer with an inline fan and it’s been doing a fantastic job. So if it can handle solvent based paints and resin fumes then it’ll have no issues with any appliance that needs to have an exhaust hose for hot air or moisture etc.Like any window seal or bug mesh kit for a window, the install process is mostly just cleaning the window frame and then measuring, cutting and sticking a bunch of adhesive backed velcro in the right spots. Once the velcro is on the window you can then attach and detach the seal as needed, which can be a bit tricky depending on the exact window type and size, but the instructions do a great job of showing how to handle each type of window.The end result isn’t super tidy, especially if you have a smaller window with a total length under 300cm as you’ll need to tuck and stick the excess material down. But it does the job and there isn’t really a neater way to do a fabric seal on a window as they all end up looking similar. You can technically trim the excess material, but then you’ll need to figure out how to seal the cut edge properly, which is why they just recommend tucking it as that’s harder to mess up.At the current price of £24.99 it is a few quid more expensive than generic kits made for the same sized windows, but it’s hardly surprising that you’re paying a bit extra for a name-brand DREO kit that’s intended to go with their portable AC units.

    Easy to install and effective but unless the window it is being fitted to is the same size as the seal the end pieces will be hanging loose (or a gap if bigger, obviously). Functionally, that’s fine, but it will look a little untidy if that matters to you.I assume the 4m dimension is the ‘circumference’ of the seal so designed to fit a window frame where 2× width + 2x height = 4m. The smaller dimensions if the window are accommodated by the shape of the seal.The velcro tape that holds the seal to window and frame allows the seal to be taken off and put back as required which is useful.

    Sehr robust. Ich muss die Fensterabdichtung jeden Tag an und wieder abbauen, das macht sie bislang ohne Probleme mit. Auch der Reißverschluss scheint robust zu sein.

    An sich ein Gutes Produkt, aber obwohl es für Holz Rahmen geeignet sein soll, hat der Klebestreifen an einigen Stellen die Faser aus dem Holz gerissen.Außerdem geht der Reißverschluss nicht komplett von Ende zu Ende, wodurch das Fenster nicht mehr vollständig geöffnet werden kann ohne das Klettband zulösen.

    Eine wirkliche Abdichtung war leider nicht gegeben, aber sofern man eine Klimalösung hat, welche Zu und Abluftschlauch hat, sollte das Problem mit dem Unterdruck im Raum nicht mehr sein und dann ist die Klima-Abdichtung super! So hat es leider extrem die Luft von außen angezogen und ist überall rein.
